AIGym

The manifesto

AI doesn't make people stupid.Lazy use of AI does.

The popular complaint is that artificial intelligence is hollowing out our capacity to think. That if you can ask a machine to draft your reasoning, you will stop developing your own. There is real evidence for this — students who hand every problem to a model do get worse at problems. Professionals who never write a first draft themselves lose the ability to write one.

But the conclusion that AI is the problem is the wrong conclusion. AI is a tool. A pen makes some people lazy and others write better. A calculator did not end mathematics — it freed mathematicians to work on harder problems. A great library does not make you smarter; it makes you smarter if you read demandingly.

The disciplined use of AI is not to bypass thinking. It is to put your thinking under pressure. To find the gap between what you concluded and what a more rigorous version of you would have concluded — and to close it. Every consequential profession has a version of this practice: chess players against engines, surgeons against simulators, fighter pilots against red-team instructors.

AIGym is a family of training rooms built on that principle. You enter a scenario — a board vote, a panel interview, a negotiation gone sideways, a crisis on its third hour. You write your reasoning. K2 Think V2 — one of the most demanding reasoning models currently in production — grades the structure, completeness, and honesty of your thinking, and shows you exactly where it broke. Then you go back in.

The gyms are sport-specific because reasoning is sport-specific. Director-level judgment is not the same skill as negotiating a merger or diagnosing a patient. But the engine is the same: scenario, reasoning, evaluation, repeat. No answer keys. No shortcuts. No flattering scores.

This is the website for the people who refuse to let AI think for them. Who use it to think harder. Who believe that the best students of the next decade will be the ones who treated AI not as an oracle but as the sparring partner who will never tire and never flatter.
